With three general hospitals and specific programs, such as the Regional Cancer Centre, Trauma Centre and Children’s Hospital, there are a plethora of opportunities to interact with medical and surgical specialties. Research is currently underway examining the brain-gut connection, impact of intensive care unit (ICU) admissions, bariatric care, as well as a range of collaborations within neuropsychiatry.
