Dr. Tobon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster and a Psychologist with the Youth Wellness Centre at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton.

Before coming to St. Joseph’s Healthcare, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Offord Centre for Child Studies and McMaster University, working on the 2014 Ontario Child Health Study under Drs. Michael Boyle and Kathy Georgiades. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in the Child, Youth, and Family Services. For her doctoral dissertation, Dr. Tobon developed a new measure of continuity of care in children’s mental health.
