Dr. McTaggart is a clinical psychologist in the Child and Youth Mental Health Inpatient Unit at McMaster Children’s Hospital, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University. She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from The University of Guelph in 2009, and completed her pre-doctoral residency at Hamilton Health Sciences. Dr. Jennifer McTaggart is the Director of Training for the Clinical Child Psychology Residency Program at Hamilton Health Sciences. She also co-chairs the Hamilton Committee for the Collaborative Management of Youth Suicide. Clinically, she is interested in suicide risk assessment, adolescent suicide risk, and evidence-based interventions for suicidal adolescents and their families.
